About NextCanvas

NextCanvas is a free community for middle and high school artists. There is a gallery to hang your work in, a forum where students and professional mentors talk about making it, and a board of exhibitions, workshops, and internships worth knowing about.

The gallery is a quiet place on purpose. Every piece is read by a mentor before it goes up, and there are no comments on it, so nobody gets to grade your work underneath it. If you want thoughts on something you're making, you ask for them in the forum.

We believe that no young artist stands alone.

Professional mentors are invited by our team; their feedback carries a mentor badge so students know who they're hearing from. Meet them on the mentors page.
