Artwork Rights and Exhibition Policy
Ownership
NextCanvas ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") does not claim copyright to student artwork. You keep full ownership of your work.

Limited Permission to Share (for the Open Call)
By submitting, you grant NextCanvas a limited, non-exclusive permission to display your submitted images for purposes related to the Open Call—such as jury review, the NextCanvas website gallery (if selected), announcements, and educational/community storytelling. We will always credit the artist name you provide.

Student Safety & Guardian Control
For minors, we may request guardian confirmation for public-facing features (e.g., finalist pages, exhibitions). Guardians can request edits or removal of a student’s profile or artwork display, and we will honor verified requests promptly.

What We Will Never Do
We will never sell student artwork files, license them to third parties for commercial use, or use them in paid advertising without explicit written permission.
