Financial Integrity & Transparency Statement
Our Mission
NextCanvas is founded on the principle of “Artists Helping Artists.” Our mission is to remove financial barriers in arts education and to identify, support, and invest in young creative talent that might otherwise go unseen due to limited access to resources.

Submission Fee Structure ($0 / $10)
To balance equitable access with artistic quality, we use a tiered submission model:
-
First artwork: $0 (Free)
Every student with a passion for art deserves the opportunity to be seen, regardless of financial background. -
Additional artworks: $10 per piece (up to two additional works)
This fee is designed to encourage students to submit only their strongest work, while also providing modest, mission-aligned funding to support program operations.

Use of Funds & Reinvestment Commitment
NextCanvas is committed to reinvesting 100% of all program-related funds directly into student-focused initiatives. These may include, but are not limited to:
-
Scholarship & Student Support Fund
Supporting selected students with professional art supplies, educational resources, or college and portfolio application–related expenses. -
Exhibitions & Programming
Covering costs associated with curated online exhibitions and in-person student exhibitions, including venue rental and production expenses in professional art spaces (such as those in the New York City area). -
Zero Private Gain Policy
All team members, including founders, serve on a volunteer basis. No individual receives personal compensation from submission fees or program-related funding.

Additional Funding Sources
In addition to submission fees, NextCanvas may receive support through grants, donations, sponsorships, or mission-aligned partnerships in the future.
All funds, regardless of source, are governed by the same principles of financial transparency, ethical stewardship, and reinvestment in student-centered programs. No funding source will compromise the educational mission or independence of NextCanvas.
