Dear High School Me

Call for Artist Contributors

We’re inviting working artists to write a note to their high school self. This is not about perfect advice or success stories. It’s about honesty, uncertainty, and the quiet things you wish you’d known when you were 14–18 and loved art but didn’t yet know where it could lead.

If you could speak to your high school self — and to students who are standing where you once stood — what would you say?

Selected reflections will be shared as part of Dear High School Me, a series created to guide and encourage young people who love art and are still figuring things out.

e.g. painting, illustration, sculpture, photography, design, mixed media

This will be used for credit if your piece is shared.

Is there something you wish you had known sooner?

This may be shared as a highlighted quote.
